Kingman Brewster, Jr.

Brewster was president of Yale University.

Homer D. Babbidge, Jr.

Babbidge ended his ten years as UConn president in 1972 and made a brief run for governor. He also served as Master of Yale's Timothy Dwight College and the Hartford Graduate Center.

Charles E. Shain

Shain was president of Connecticut College in New London, Conn.

Glenn W. Ferguson

Ferguson was UConn's president from 1973 to 1978.

Jill Conway

Conway, then president-elect of Smith College, was the first woman to address a UConn commencement.
